I’m an engaged safety leader with nearly fifteen years of experience across a mix of industries. Over that time, I’ve learned a simple truth: people make mistakes. Pointing fingers doesn’t help us learn; it shuts people down. I focus on understanding what really happened in the same context workers had, learning deeply from events and near misses, and helping leaders respond to bad news in ways that build trust instead of fear.

When I speak, my goal is to make tough topics feel human, practical, and a little bit fun. In 2026 alone, I’ve had the opportunity to speak with more than a thousand people across the U.S. and Canada about Human and Organizational Performance, leadership engagement, culture, bullying, professional development, and shifting from blame to learning. I don’t reuse the same canned talk over and over; I tailor each session to where the conversation will be most valuable for that organization, team, or school.

I’m originally from Bardstown, Kentucky, and I grew up absolutely terrified of public speaking. I also spent a long time spinning my wheels on what I wanted to do professionally. I eventually landed in the safety world, realized how much I genuinely enjoyed it, and never looked back. Now, one of my favorite things to do is sit down with different groups, hear about the real challenges they face, and help them turn those challenges into better conversations, better learning, and safer work.

If you’re ready to move past check-the-box safety and uncomfortable conversations that go nowhere, I’d love to work with you. Whether you’re a company, a team, or a school, or even a private/public/government organization, we can build something that fits your world - not a generic, one-size-fits-nobody talk. Invite me in, and let’s start better conversations about mistakes, learning, bullying, and psychological safety that actually stick long after the session is over.
